PROJECT INFORMATION

This project included the design, supply, installation, delivery, installation, testing, certification, commissioning, and defects liability maintenance Switchboards to 6 sites located within the City of Sydney Council area.

Platinum provided all materials, labour, transport, tools, plant, temporary works and accessories necessary for the complete execution of the works, along with all minor and incidental works, including power generators to maintain functions of the facilities at the work sites.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Erskineville Retail Holding
The building is currently tenanted out to a range of businesses consisting of Erskineville Post Office, Café Piccolo Erko, The Deli Erskineville and The Floral Decorator. The replacement of four tenancy boards.

Victoria Pool
The existing distribution board DB-EXL was replaced with new compliant distribution board.

Reginald Murphy Activity Club
The existing main switchboard (MSB) was upgraded along with Electrical distribution boards; DB-1, DB-2, DB-3 and DB-3-1.

Surry Hills Child Care Centre
The existing main switchboard was removed and replaced with new compliant main switchboard with new electrical load centre. Platinum supplied and installed new
compliant main switchboard along with new load centre.

Rex Community Centre
The existing board located at Distribution board (DB-RT-10) was upgraded to compliant state and correct labelling.

Coronation Hotel
Main Switchboard (MSB) and Distribution board 1 “DB-1” upgrade works.

In addition to the works carried out, our team prepared the following plans to ensure all mandatory requirements for the client were delivered:

  • Comprehensive methodology documents detailing the construction methods, major plant and equipment, material management arrangements, hours of work, environmental issues, and site access
  • Program of Works and a drawing showing proposed construction ancillary facility (site compound, amenities, material laydown, stockpiles, car parking) locations and site access routes will be provided on approval of the project
  • Environmental Management Plans
  • Waste Management Plans
  • Emergency Management Plans
