PROJECT INFORMATION

SSI SCHAEFER SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL (Schaefer) partnered with Platinum to execute a comprehensive Mezzanine Lighting Installation project at Daimler Melbourne. The project, completed within a tight 4-week timeline in December 2023, focused on enhancing energy efficiency and safety across multiple levels through the deployment of state-of-the-art LED lighting solutions.

SCOPE OF WORKS

On-site Risk Assessment:

  • Conducted a meticulous on-site risk assessment to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Mezzanine Ground Floor:

  • Supplied and installed 293 x 36W LED battens with sensors
  • Installed 68 x 36W emergency LED battens with sensors
  • Deployed 20 x LED Exit signs

Mezzanine Level 1:

  • Supplied and installed 293 x 36W LED battens with sensors
  • Installed 68 x 36W emergency LED battens with sensors
  • Deployed 20 x LED Exit signs

Electrical Infrastructure:

  • Supplied and installed a 36-pole distribution board for Mezzanine lighting
  • Installed a 100A submain (up to 60m) to the new mezzanine lighting distribution board

Testing and Commissioning:

  • Rigorous testing and commissioning procedures were implemented to ensure the functionality and reliability of the entire installation

Documentation:

  • Provided comprehensive as-installed documentation upon project completion
